Movie Review for: Grandma’s Boy

August 05th, 2008 | Category: Movie Reviews

When a video game technician finds himself on the street, who is the one person he knows he can turn to? Grandma. How can living rent-free in a house with three grandmothers turn bad? When they find your stash of weed and make tea.

Grandma’s Boy follows the Adam Sandler’s formula for comedy. If you liked Deuce Bigalow,
Little Nicky, Joe Dirt, Mr. Deeds, or Anger Management, you will certainly laugh at Grandma’s Boy.

Allen Covert holds his own in a lead role after standing in Adam Sandler’s shadow for 13 movies. He steps up to the plate and hits one out of the park in the comedy genre.

Linda Cardellini is fun to watch in the movie. She does well in the live-action Scooby Doo movies, ER, and who could not love her in the short lived Freaks and Geeks television series?

Grandma’s Boy is a good stupid movie. It will not win any awards. It will not be a reference for film critics. But it will put a smile on your face and may make you forget about your troubles for an hour and a half.
